research interests Convex/Discrete Geometry and related fields (see my publications).
Here is a certainly incomplete list of members/guests/visitors of the CDG-group in Magdeburg.

My general interests lie in geometry and algebra. Slightly more specifically, I am interested in the interface between the topology/geometry of complex varieties and representation theory (often going under the moniker of geometric representation theory). Even more specifically, I am particularly interested in the functorial formulation of the (local) Langlands correspondence as proposed by Soergel (see the paper `Langlands philosophy and Koszul duality\' available on his webpage). In this context, I am also particularly inspired by the circle of ideas contained in Goresky, Macpherson and Kottwitz\'s article `Equivariant cohomology, Koszul duality, and the localization theorem\' (available at Goresky\'s webpage here. Regardless, I am always happy to talk about anything even vaguely geometric/representation theoretic.
