I am second year mathematics postdoc at Stanford currently funded by an NSF postdoctoral fellowship. I also have some interests in theoretical computer science.  My username is dankane and you can email me at this username @math.stanford.edu, @alum.mit.edu, or @math.harvard.edu, I also have a gmail account with username ALadKeenIn.

Research

I have done a fair bit of research in Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science.  Although my research interests are diverse, my mathematics work has tended to focus on analytic number theory and my computer science work has typically involved k-independence, polynomial threshold functions or derandomization.

My research is concerned mainly with nonlinear elliptic and parabolic differential equations and nonlinear functional analysis. One aspect of my research focuses on the study of the existence, uniqueness and qualitative properties of solutions of various nonlinear differential equations, mostly arising from applied sciences, such as from mathematical biology and chemical reaction theory.

The other aspect of my research is concerned with nonlinear functional analysis and its applications to various nonlinear problems. My interests in this direction focus mainly on the development and new applications of tools in nonlinear functional analysis, such as the generalised Conley index theory, topological degree theory and critical point theory.
