Tietze 扩张定理(Tietze extension theorem) 或 Tietze 映射定理 (Tietze mapping theorem)

下面是平面情形的 Tietze 映射定理.

定理. 设 $A\subset\mathbb{R}^2$ 是闭集, $f:\ A\rightarrow[a,b]$ 连续. 则存在连续映射 $g:\ \mathbb{R}^2\rightarrow[a,b]$, 使得 $g|_A=f$.
